*****SHOW YOUR LOVE WEEK - FEBRUARY 8 - 15*****
Show Your Love for your Valentines, O-Town, J Records & Your Favorite Music Retailer!
It is time to remember your friends and loved ones for Valentine's Day this week. The usual one-pound box of chocolates in a heart-shaped box costs $15 at a national chain of candy stores. For the same price, you can show your love, not only for those on your gift list, but also for O-Town, J Records and your favorite music retailer! Give a gift that keeps on giving! Please buy copies of O2 for those on your Valentine's Day gift list! If those on your gift list already have O2, don’t forget about O-Town’s other CDs, DVDs and merchandise. Check our music and merchandise pages for more info. And if you know that you are on someone’s Valentine's Day gift list, please let them know that you would love to have O2 or one of O-Town’s other CDs, DVDs or some O-Town merchandise. Even if you don’t plan on giving or getting gifts for Valentine's Day, you can Show Your Love for O-Town! Please call the DJ of your local Top 40 station once each day this week and politely request “I Showed Her.” It is best to call an evening DJ or a DJ that is hosting a request countdown show.

"I Showed Her" Gets Glowing Review by Billboard (February 15, 2003 Issue)
(Credit and thanks to Maura who posted this review at IO at 3:51 p.m. on 2/10/03)
"Once in a rare while, a ballad hits the mainstream radar that is so instantly affecting, it takes radio and the public's collective ear by thunderous storm. "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera is certainly one such lightning bolt—as is the glorious "I Showed Her" from O-Town. Say what you will about boy bands or downtempo pop in today's climate: this record positively transcends stigma. Written, produced, and arranged by Shep Crawford—who has created masterful works for the likes of Luther Vandross, Kelly Price, Yolanda Adams, Whitney Houston, and Boyz II Men—this track is simple, meaningful, and direct, building to a splendid chorus that is so beautiful, you'll wonder how such a pleasing chord progression has never been crafted before. So much of what's out there today is instantly disposable. This is a timeless melodic jewel, deserving of dramatic success."—Chuck Taylor for Billboard Magazine (Single Spotlight)
