(March 12, 2006) This
brief quote about Ashlee Simpson from Ashley in the March 20 issue of
Us Weekly raised questions among fans. We thank IO Board member Kirsten
for posting her find of this
phone interview that Ashley did with Z100 where the DJ raised this very
subject with him. It seems that Ashley dated Ashlee quite a long time ago
when Ashlee was younger. Us Weekly played a word association game with
Ashley and, with apologies, Ashley honestly blurted out the first words that
came to his mind when the reporter uttered Ashlee’s name to Ashley. Ouch!

Klasfeld, received MTV Video Music Award nominations in 2005 for Destiny's
Child "Lose My Breath" for Best Dance Video and Simple Plan’s
"Untitled," which was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best

Ashley’s Appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly
(March 14, 2006) Ashley received a very warm welcome from hosts Kelly
Ripa and Pat Sajak, who was filling in for the vacationing Regis. Kelly remembered
O-Town’s earlier appearances on the show and was interested in finding
out about Ashley’s life now. Here

Bender Morning Show Wednesday
(March 14, 2006) Jackie and Bender, who host the morning show on Seattle’s
KISS 106.1 FM from 5am-10am, have posted on their
website that Ashley will be on their show Wednesday morning. You can listen
to their show live via Internet broadcast.
Ashley's "Let U Go" Video Debuts Today on TRL at #8!

“Let U Go” Jumps to #6 in Its Second Day on TRL, Ashley Thanks

(March 16, 2006) Ashley posted this
blog about how excited he is about his “Let U Go” video’s
leap from #8 to #6 in its second day on TRL and how thankful he is for his
fans’ support. A similar message was also posted in his journal at his
official site. In his MySpace blog, Ashley also mentioned that
he has completed his radio promo tour and still hasn’t decided on whether
he will be doing a second season of “There and Back,” which has
a very demanding shooting schedule. This March
3 article at Reality Blurred reports that Episode 107 was the third
highest ranked show on cable in the key 18-34 demographic. Hopefully, the
show’s success will help Ashley and Tiffany to negotiate an agreement
that will suit them, MTV and the show’s fans!

(March 19, 2006) With Ashley’s album done, the first season of “There
and Back” finished, his first single playing on the radio, his radio
promo tour completed and his “Let U Go” video on TRL, you’d
think things would have settled down a bit, but that couldn’t be further
from the truth! Keep your eyes open for a lot more! Here is just a little
bit of what we have to look forward to: Look for Ashley’s appearance
on “The
Kelly Slater Celebrity Surf Invitational,” which airs on MTV this
Saturday, March 25 at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT; The release date for Ashley’s
first solo album, “Soundtrack to Your Life” has been moved from
April 18 to May 16; Teen People is working with Ashley and Tiffany
on a few projects. Stay tuned for exciting details; and Ashley and Tiffany
are still considering whether they want to do a second season of “There
and Back.” We hope to hear news on their decision soon.

“Let U Go” is #4 on MTV’s Hot 5 Videos Chart. Sadly, the video
landed in 10th place on TRL’s
Chart for the week ending March 17. Don’t forget to vote here
