(May 14, 2004) It’s
time to celebrate a new latitude and a new attitude! Come sail away with us
for the Inside Jacob’s
Loc launch party! Inside O-Town has opened a new location, Inside
Jacob’s Loc. We believe that Inside O-Town’s members will enjoy
visiting our newest community for a nice change of scene. When you arrive,
we won’t be surprised if we hear you say, similar to Dorothy from the
Wizard of Oz, “I don’t think we’re in O-Town anymore!”
Just as the former members of O-Town decided to expand their horizons, many
of their fans wish to follow them on their musical journeys as well. We believe
that virtual travelers search online for names they recognize the same way
that travelers on the road look for the hotel and restaurant names they know
and like. Expect to run into friends you made at Inside O-Town and make some
new friends, too! So come enjoy the warmth of the golden sun and sand, the
shade of the green palms and the refreshing teal ocean that this virtual San
Diego location has to offer! Bring your beach chair, hat and shades. Grab
the cold beverage of your choice from the ice chest and help yourself to tortilla
chips, guacamole and salsa at our launch party! We can’t wait to see

Trevor Penick Poser Alert
(May 15, 2004) A fan became suspicious that
the person corresponding with her from an email address that someone had given
her as Trevor's email address for fan mail was not really Trevor. She contacted
us and asked us to verify if it was indeed Trevor's email address for fan
mail. We checked the email address with Trevor himself and we were
just informed this morning that the email address that this fan was given
is not Trevor's email address. We hope that the disappointed fan can
take some solace in knowing that by her coming forward and asking for the
email address to be verified, at least she won't be misled any longer and
perhaps this alert will save other fans the same frustration and disappointment.
Please feel free to post this info anywhere it might be appreciated. Trevor
is aware that we'd be issuing a poser alert:

The person who created/responds to the email account trevors_fan_mail@yahoo.com
and lists the name associated with that email address as Trevor Penick is
NOT Trevor Penick. Trevor does not answer email at the Trevor_fan_mail@yahoo
.com. He does not have an email address for fans at this time.
Thanks for everyone's help in spreading the word. Please continue to use
extreme caution if somebody gives you any email addresses that are supposedly
those that the guys are using to stay in touch with their fans. To the best
of our knowledge, none of the guys currently have such email addresses. We've
already asked reliable sources if the guys had such email addresses and were
told that they don't have anything like that right now. Please contact us
if you have any questions or concerns.
Jacob's Loc Launches a Street Team!
(May 24, 2004) Jacob's Loc started a Street Team today to push radio airplay
for "Faces" at three San Diego radio stations. If you'd like to
support the group, please go sign up for the team here
and begin requesting the song at these stations listed at their site: 91X-91.1FM,
ROCK 105.3-105.3 FM and FM
94/9-94.9 FM.
German Magazine YAM Publishes Article About Jacob’s Loc!
(May 27, 2004) We thank Franca from IO affiliate O-Town World for posting
the news at IO that she was looking through some magazines at her supermarket
and discovered that the German Magazine YAM
had a short article about Jacob’s Loc! They wrote a bit about Jacob’s
new band and that this band would be Jacob’s comeback. YAM claims
to have a readership of 600,000. To the best of our knowledge, this is the
first published article about Jacob’s Loc anywhere in the world. Congrats
go to Jacob’s Loc for already getting noticed by the professional media!
Jacob’s Loc Calling All San Diego Fans!
(May 27, 2004) Jacob’s Loc’s official site has revised their
May 24th message. JL is now targeting only one radio station and requests
that only people local to San Diego request the song. So all you San Diego
people....GO! The rest of us will get our chance to support the band when
they go national and then international! Here is the revised message posted
on May 26th at the band's official site: Hey everyone, thanks for your
interest in helping us get the word out about Jacob's Loc. Right now the focus
is on a radio push in San Diego, California. We want San Diego locals to call
and e-mail the San Diego radio station 91X and request "Faces."
