New Look for Jacob's Loc
(September 29, 2005) In a post on the Jacob's Loc website, Jacob announced the band is going through a transitionary phase and will soon have a new look and sound. Here is his message: "I want to announce that the re-vamping of Jacob's Loc is under way. This has been a long and difficult process that I am still experiencing the growing pains from but that I think will be a monumental step in the evolution of Jacob's Loc. Now that the album is finished I plan to take it on the road (but) unfortunately Mike Sylvia and Ryan Flores have notified me of there inability to continue. This has resulted in creating the "new Face" of Jacob's Loc where I hope to incorporate a variety of musicians. If you saw the last show you saw our acoustic versions which we are excited to develop more of while looking to add a double bass and fiddle player to the mix. I know if you enjoy the album you'll love the new versions as much as I do. There's already demand to record the songs in their new light so I am excited at the response and look forward to sharing it with you. I want to publicly thank Ryan and Mike for all they have done to get this project where it is and wish all the luck in their future investments. Thanks again to the Loc and its supporters, Remember the sky's the limit and the future is ahead. peace and love, Jacob"

A Message From Ashley!
(October 5, 2005) When Inside O-Town contacted Ashley to ask him some questions about the website his label had launched for him, he was surprised to hear it was up and running. After Ashley checked out the website and saw that much of the information it contained was incorrect, he contacted IO and asked us to pass this message along to all of you: "Dear Fans, As always thank you for your continuing support!!! I know it has been awhile since I have written so I wanted to let you know I am thinking of you!! As I have posted before I have been working on an album (among other things) for the last TWO YEARS!!! I have also mentioned that my own website will be launching soon. Recently, UNIVERSAL RECORDS launched a website for me that unfortunately was full of errors and incorrect quotes. I have asked them to pull down the biography and the photograph because both were posted on the internet without my approval. The staff at UNIVERSAL will be relaunching that same site with a new photo and new information about me and the release of the album. I wanted to explain that Universal's website for me will be different than my own website which will be www.ashleyparkerangel.com. We are working very hard to launch my website by late December or early January. Thank you for your patience and I miss you guys- Love, Ash"
