NOVEMBER 10 TWINSBURG TORNADO CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE –
by Charmaine Frost
While the Millers’ home was spared, several homes in this small town with a population of about 10,000 were completely destroyed and many others were heavily damaged. No lives were lost but a number of residents are homeless and other residents are suffering from the losses caused by the storm. We are asked to keep the residents of Twinsburg in our thoughts and prayers. Additional details about the tornado can be found here and here.

The Summit County Chapter of the Red Cross provided details for those wishing to make a contribution to aid victims, “To help victims of this and other disasters, please make a financial contribution to the Summit County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 501 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303 or call Mark Fairhurst at 330-535-2348.”

Finally! After being pushed back numerous times, "O-Town 2" is in the shops! Ashley, Dan, Erik, Jacob and Trevor wanted to both write as many songs as possible for the new album and also unite their differing musical tastes, and it can be heard!

Alongside wonderfully emotional ballads such as "I Showed Her" and "You Can't Lose Me" you'll find songs with great beats, like "The Joint," or "Favorite Girl," which was written and produced by Nelly and will make you want to dance straightaway - it's a must for every party. The tracks "From the Damage" and "Craving," co-written by Ashley, see the guys showing their new maturity and their ability to deliver rock songs.

With O-Town 2, the guys deliver a mini masterpiece and prove to all the critics that they are more than a manufactured boyband. The central theme of the album appears to be the successful fusion of pop, rock, r&b and rap and is particularly effective during the energetic song "Make Her Say," a song co-written by Erik.

13 varied tracks full of energy and the guys' catchy voices make it more than likely that you'll become addicted. Your CD-Player's going to get hot..."

Issue 47/02 of YAM Magazine features a report on Jacob's wedding and is available in German shops for the next week."
