O-Town's Boyband Problems (Wednesday, November 13, 2002)

O-Town's second album, "O-Town 2" came too late for a nomination at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. But that's no reason to become despondent, because they'll be another MTV Awards next year.

Dan Miller: "I don't think that our last album was good enough to be nominated for anything at the MTV Awards. We'll just keep on waiting and hopefully our time will come soon."

So the last album wasn't good enough! What makes the new album so much better?

Trevor Penick: "The music means that this album is one that we would really enjoy listening to ourselves. And above all we had a lot more influence this time. Everything was handed to us for the last album: 'This is what your photos will look like, here are the songs that you're going to sing,' and so on. This time it's really our album."
