I arrived at Oakdale where the concert was going to take place, and around 1 o'clock I met Kristen and we waited in the car for a bit since it was quite cold out! We got out and joined the line that was starting to form rapidly! With gifts in hand we waited for almost 2 hours to get into the building. While waiting we could hear the guys doing their sound check! I couldn't wait to hear the new material!

When they let us in I was shocked at how small the room was, a typical banquet room that you would have a party or something in. A small stage with 5 chairs and mics were set up at the front of the room, and then, in front of the small stage, there were about 100 chairs were lined up in rows. We sat three rows from the stage on the left side. However, EVERY seat in the room had a great view since it was so intimate!
Every DJ from KC101 was there, including quite a few security men, the most I have seen at an O-Town event before. After a few minutes, one of the DJs introduced O-Town - the reaction of the crowd, about 200 people, was amazing! As Kristen said, she had never known that that many people could make SO MUCH noise! The screaming was pretty intense - Connecticut was definitely excited to finally see Trevor, Erik, Ashley, Jacob, and Dan looking their best!
They opened up with saying HI and reacting to the screams from everyone in the room! They also thanked the fans for voting, and thanked KC101 for playing their music. The first song that they performed was We Fit Together, with Jacob on guitar - it was just an acoustic performance and their pure voices to be heard! They followed with From The Damage, and their latest single, These Are The Days. This was the best performance of this song I had ever seen or heard. Jacob sounded incredible! Next, they moved on to Craving. Trevor expressed how much he absolutely loved this song and how this was his favorite! It's my favorite too - it sounded amazing live and this was the first time I had seen it performed! Their last song was All or Nothing which had been requested by a little boy named Jake. Very cute seeing the guys with young children!

Excitement had been building
since Wednesday night at 5:00 p.m. when KC101 (a local radio station) announced
a private exclusive O-Town concert at a secret location! It was going to be
intimate and something special to experience! My friend Kristen and I had
tried NONSTOP since that night to win tickets, but each time we got through,
we were frustrated when we were caller 3 or 4, rather than being the winning
10th caller. We were getting closer, but it still seemed impossible!
Finally two nights before the concert I received a voice mail that Kristen's
wonderful mother had won the tickets and we were going to see O-Town! I was
both excited and relieved that I did not have to listen to that annoying radio
station anymore, because we were definitely going! I planned on buying Trevor
a gift for his birthday a while back and this was my chance to give it to
him so I went to Abercrombie and bought him a gray and red shirt with the
number 5 on it hoping he would like it!
