FRIDAY, JANUARY 31, 2003 - We had planned to wake up at 8:00 a.m., because Trevor teed off at 10:15, but when we woke up at that time, we were so tired from the day before we wanted to sleep until 9! Luckily, five minutes later I realized he teed off at 8:48! We hurried to get ready, and we forgot to call our friends Kristen and Kathy and tell them Trevor teed off at 8:48, and not 10:00!! So we got there late, and they got there later! There were quite a few more girls there on Friday, most of them from Palm Desert High School. Since we were late, we waited for Trevor at the 18th hole, and it took him about a half an hour to get there, but we were ok with that. We were having fun in the shade.

Then we saw Trevor coming up the green and he was getting ready to hit. He hit the ball, and the volunteers yelled, "It's gonna be long!!" so Heather and I ducked, and it flew right by our heads, right behind us. We started cracking up at what seemed like a near miss. Trevor walked up, threw his hands in the air, and everyone started clapping. He asked, "where did it go?" and one guy said, "it's on the green!" and Trevor said, "it is?!" The guy said, "yeah, the green of the next hole (which it was)." Trevor wanted to hit it but they wouldn't let him, so the guy gave the ball to me to give to Trevor, and Trevor said, "I don't think I should use this ball any more...its unlucky," so he threw it to me!

We started talking to him again, and were walking with him to the next hole, but he was being bombarded by fans, so we kinda stepped back and let him be. We waited a couple of holes before talking to him again, and said, "so dinner tonight, right?" and he told us, "well, I have to go to a dinner at 8:30," so we said, "well, that's what time we have to leave anyways, so what about lunch or ice cream?" He said, "Okay, totally wait for me after!"

We talked to AJ again, and Heather had him sign their picture together, and she said to him, "aren't we cute?" He laughed and said, "I don't know about that, you're a lot cuter than I am." Heather said, "No way!" and he said, "Yeah you are!! Have fun today girls!!" Then we started walking with Trevor again, and pretty much walked the five miles again. After it was all over, we walked up to Trevor and he told us, "I'm gonna go to the driving range for like half an hour, and then we will go." We went with him to the driving range, and watched him hit some balls.

Then we saw Trevor's sisters, Vanessa and Traci, so we went to say hi to them. It was quite funny because our really good friend worked with Traci, but we always thought he was lying to us! And when we found out it was totally true, we were like, "dang, we should have believed him!" Vanessa and Traci are hysterical!! We couldn't stop laughing with them!! We talked to them for about 45 minutes, which is how long Trevor spent at the driving range. Then he came up, and asked, "where do ya wanna go?" We weren't sure. He suggested "In-N-Out?" and we said, "sure!!!" He gave us directions; there was an In-N-Out right down the street, but he didn't know it. So we went to this far off one, but that's okay. However we still had to get our cars in the parking lot, which was about two miles away, so we arrived kind of late. The twins were parked there as well, but they somehow got way ahead of us.
