Recently, a popular O-Town fan site published an update that included additional details about Dan Miller’s wedding, including the wedding date. A member of our community posted the information here at Inside O-Town, as it seemed that the information had been approved for publication by a reliable source.

Statement Regarding Dan and Erin's Wedding Date

Knowing that Dan and Erin had asked that their wedding date not be publicly announced, board moderators went into the message and deleted the date. Since there were two conflicting accounts of what Dan and Erin were permitting to be published, we double-checked our sources to clear up the confusion. Providing readers with the most accurate and up-to-date information is our primary concern. We certainly would have posted a correction if we had found that Dan and Erin had changed their minds about announcing their wedding date publicly, and it was just an oversight that we hadn't been informed of their change in policy.

Regardless of what has been posted elsewhere, we were informed yesterday that Dan and Erin have not changed their position on this matter. They did not inform any of those who provide news to the fans that they wished to publicly announce their wedding date. Their position remains the same as when they decided to announce their engagement. They chose only to say that they wedding would be this summer.

Dan and Erin are thrilled with the positive responses from the fans to the announcement of their engagement and appreciate the fans’ good wishes for their marriage. They want their wedding day to be a special time for them, their families and friends that is free from the commotion that could be created by publicizing their wedding date. Most celebrities choose to take the same route and keep wedding dates a secret until after the ceremony, so we’re sure that the public understands and respects their decision. They most likely will be sharing a formal announcement of their marriage and a wedding photo with fans shortly after they are married. Thanks for understanding and supporting their wishes.
