INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING
THE DOME CHAT

To access the chat, you first of all need to register with the Dome website to get a username and password. Here are the instructions to do that:

- go to http://www.thedome.de

- Click on the blue tab in the top right-hand corner saying "Star Chat"

- You should see that it says "O-Town" and has a picture of the guys. Next to that it will say "Chat" - click on that

- You'll then be taken through to a screen that says "Hier kannst Du Deinen Benutzernamen und Dein Passwort eingeben" and further down you should see "Du bist noch nicht angemeldet? Hier kannst Du Dich kostenlos registrieren!" Click on "Registrieren"

- You'll then be taken through to a form to fill in in order to register for the chat. Here are the details you need to fill in:

Benutzername: Type in whatever you want your username to be
Passwort: Type in your password
Passwort wiederholen: Type in your password again to confirm
E-Mail Type in your email address

Ich möchte meine E-Mail-Adresse veröffentlichen - unclick the box next to this if you DO NOT want your email address to be made public

Vorname: First Name
Nachname: Surname

Ich möchte meinen Vornamen und meinen Nachnamen veröffentlichen - unlick the box next to this if you DO NOT want your personal details to be made public
Geschlecht: männlich (male) weiblich (female) - select the circle for whichever is appropriate
Straße & Nr. Can be left empty
PLZ & Ort Can be left empty
Land: Can be left empty
Telefon Can be left empty

Ich möchte meine Adresse veröffentlichen - unclick the box next to this if you DO NOT want your address to be made public

Ich möchte mein Profil veröffentlichen - unclick the box next to this if you DO NOT want your profile to be made public

Ich akzeptiere die Nutzungsbedingungen in der jeweils neuesten Fassung. - click on the box next to this in order to confirm that you understand the conditions.

Click on "Ubernehmen"

You will then be sent an email. It will contain your membership number (Mitglieds-Nr), your username and your password.

Hopefully then, any time you want to enter the chat you just need to enter your details and all should work fine!
