The crowd watched patiently as the crew did a sound check on-stage and waited for the guys to come out from backstage. One tested "Trevor's Mic, Trevor's Mic, 1-2, 1-2" and with this cheers from a section of the crowd erupted. I think Trevor had a few fans in attendance! The concert started just about 30 minutes late, but when is anything ever on time when it comes to these guys?

Theyd with "The Joint" and you could feel the energy coming from each of the guys on stage. Being a familiar face, (having only seen him four days earlier) and wearing the jersey of a basketball team that rivals his favorite (the LA Lakers), Trevor picked me and a friend right out of the crowd and paid a lot of attention to us, at one point pointing and shaking his head at me and my jersey.

The guys performed "We Fit Together" next and the energy was high between them and the crowd. I was loving every moment! Then suddenly, security began to force everyone into their seats. We immediately looked to Trevor for answers as he looked to us for the same. Confusion. We shrugged at each other and took our seats until the security guard passed, then jumped right back up! But she returned so we took our seats again as the guys left the stage to prepare for the solos.

Jacob was first, coming out with intense enthusiasm and thanking the crowd for coming out. He talked to us about being who we wanted to be and doing what we want to do, then told everyone "I don't care who told you to sit down, get the f*** up!" and with that the crowd went wild! "Hard Too Handle" was great and very emotionally charged. There was not one person not feeling the love of rock & roll at that very moment!

Next was Ashley with "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind. He looked like a kid in a candy store. There was not a second he didn't have a smile on his face and ended his solo by climbing up on the drum platform and rockin' his guitar like a rockstar!

Following him was Erik performing "Joker" by The Steve Miller Band, an awesome rendition as always. In his intro he suggested that we, the audience, probably still sing that particular song with our friends. We asked “since when do teens of the new millennium listen to music from the 70s'?” Hmmm...Erik is a JOKER!

Dan was next with his own "Easy Way," which is an incredible song. His voice gives this girl the chillies!

Finally, Trevor came out with his love of Will Smith, and gave us a great rendition of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It" ), mixing in Busta Rhymes' "Pass the Courvoisier" at the end with the rest of the guys joining him.
As the concert progressed, Ashley broke in the piano during "Craving" and jammed with Jacob during "Suddenly". Trevor also had his "air keyboard" down pat for "Suddenly". "American Game", not only a crowd favorite but a band favorite, was especially good, with Dan getting to play his guitar as well. I loved the energy of the guys coming from the stage, and they did an amazing job. They closed the show with "All or Nothing" and I know the crowd was sad to see them go. Thanking us again for being at the show, they left with humble hearts to rest. I can't wait for the next show…those boys will never cease to hold my attention!
