Inside O-Town Ends Its Website Operation on July 13
(July 7, 2008) The Inside O-Town website will cease its service after over six years. July 2nd was the sixth anniversary of its launch. The site's content will no longer be available online after July 13.
July 2, 2002 was chosen as the site's launch date to coincide with the release of O-Town's second CD, 02, which was soon rescheduled to the fall. Our mission was to provide fans and readers with the most accurate and current information and coverage from a fan's perspective. It was a unique news service that O-Town's official website (operated by J Records), their management's website, fan club, Making the Band websites operated by MTV and ABC and entertainment media could not offer.
Inside O-Town's mission was accomplished through the united support of Ashley, Dan, Erik-Michael, Jacob and Trevor, their moms and family members, their fans, the IO Broadcast Network Outlets, J Records, Actual Management, MTV, ABC, entertainment venues and promoters and IO's staff. We all worked together to contribute news items relating O-Town's appearances on radio, TV, the Internet, in person or on stage. Many fans were able to experience the joy of seeing, hearing, meeting or enjoying O-Town's live performances because of the information our readers could find at Inside O-Town. Additionally, many fans contributed photos, audio clips, video clips and meaningful personal accounts of O-Town's wonderful live performances and personal encounters.
Following the fulfillment of O-Town's contractual commitment to J Records and Making the Band, Inside O-Town and the guys' fans continued to provide news coverage and reports on their individual endeavors. Presently, we believe that the guys' MySpace pages and the Inside O-Town Message Board can adequately meet the needs of our readers and the guys' fans.
The Inside O-Town message board remains open so fans can continue to have a place to socialize with each other, discuss projects in which the guys are currently involved or simply to look back at the staff's and fans' past contributions. You can also keep up with the guys at their MySpace pages:
