We have been assured that if J Records receives these letters of support, O-Town will be informed of that fact. However, do not expect O-Town to see any letters sent to J Records or expect a response to your letter. We have been told that it is letters that are actually mailed to J Records that make a difference. While the letters should be addressed to Clive Davis, he will not read them personally. We have been told that letters addressed to him ared by his staff and will be handled according to their procedures.

We do know for a fact that some who are very close to the boys do read our message board regularly and the guys do get information about some of what is posted there. So if you hope that your letter might be seen by some who are close to the boys or the maybe even the guys themselves, one option that we can offer you is to copy and paste your letter to this thread in addition to mailing it to J Records. But please do not post your letter on our message board without first sending it to J Records.

So what sort of information might you include in your letter? Here are some suggestions:

1. When, how and why did you become a fan? (Did you see them on Making the Band, hear their music on the radio, see them in concert, see them in a magazine or were you introduced to them by someone you know?)

2. How have you supported O-Town? (How many CDs have you purchased for yourself and as gifts? Have you purchased their videos or DVDs? Have you requested the song at radio stations and their videos on TRL? How many concerts have you attended? How far have you traveled to see O-Town?)

3. What do you like about O-Town… them and their music? What unique qualities make you choose O-Town over other artists?

4. What do others you know think about O-Town and their music? Did their opinion of O-Town change favorably as a result hearing or seeing them or because of something you did or said?

5. Do you want to see more of O-Town? Why? Where do you want to see them?

Please write your name and a return address on the envelope and on the letter. It really does mean something when you are willing to sign your name to your words, rather than just signing it "anonymous" or "a fan."
