Response to A Private Concert in Connecticut Article

I was reading the article/review/encounter section and came across a write up of the O-Town Private Show at the Oakdale in Connecticut. I had attended that show also. I would like to respond to the write-up.

At the time of the event, I was an intern for the radio station and I was working that day by setting up and organizing. With this, I was making sure the boys had water on stage and made sure everything was good for them and the people that were with them. Of course, everything worked out great.

When the boys arrived, Jacob met with the interns and DJs. At that time, we ordered lunch for everyone. After ordering, Jacob conversed with another intern and I. Let me intervene and say that he, Trevor, Ashley, Erik, and Dan are so down-to-earth!! I am proud to say I am an O~Town fan because they're really respectful and appreciative to their fans. After they had lunch, O-Town did their sound check and then went back to the "green room" in order to get ready for the concert.

When the concert began, the crowd went nuts! The noise and smiles of the fans made all of us happy. We were able to see our listeners getting a once in a life time opportunity. When O~Town was on stage, they sang five songs and with a fan interview in between.

After the concert a meet and greet was held for everyone in the building. During the meet and greet I was helping security to keep the line moving. I was standing at the end where Trevor was. Trevor was a real sweetheart. Let me back track to earlier during the day. Before the meet and greet began, their Manager, Mike, who is very nice and talked a little bit to with me during the meet and greet, which I thought was really nice instead of standing there, which I am sure most/some managers do, said to me before the meet and greet had started, "You may need to hold Trevor's hand." He was being funny and it was quite cute. Fastfowarding back to the meet and greet, Trevor would sign the pic/poster each person was given and then I would take it as he was shaking the person's hand and introducing himself and thanking them for coming. After that I would give the person their photo.

In regards to what was stated in the other article, I was not being rude at all during this and apologize if it was taken that way. Most people who know me think I am very nice, sweet and courteous to people who I meet. I did not grab the gift out of Trevor's hand. My job was to keep the line moving. You have to understand since this was not KC101's place and we were on "time schedule," that we had to get things done and out of the Oakdale because that evening there was a company's Christmas Party. We had to finish quickly in order for the company, who was having the X-Mas party, could enjoy it.

The whole event went smoothly. O-Town and their people were so nice and I would like to thank them again for coming! And hope everyone enjoyed the event because I did!
