The episode starts with the boys meeting with Actual Management, who inform them they have an offer to open for Britney Spear on her fall tour. All seem enthusiastic except Jacob, who expresses some doubts about being able to put on a proper show without their band, possibly without soundcheck, and in a severely shortened set. Mike M assures him they will have an adequate timeslot and addresses the rest of his fears. The guys then launch into rehearsal for the tour with choreographer Ed Moore, who tells them they have to look sharp because they’re competing against the best in the business. Trevor still can’t believe they’re going to be opening for Britney Spears, “the biggest female artist in the whole world,” and proceeds to give five reasons why he likes Britney (mainly, “she fine”).

Dan rejoices when he is told over the phone in the parking lot they’ve been nominated for Song of the Year at the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas. Jacob says an award like that would mean a lot to them because it’s an industry award. During a break from rehearsal outside the studios, the guys talk about whether they should attend the awards or concentrate on rehearsal. Jacob expresses the opinion they spread themselves too thin by trying to as many appearances as possible, and that their show suffers because of the lack of rehearsal time. A decision is reached to go to Las Vegas. The boys make the rounds at Mega Blast, talking to DJs from across the country, and realizing they are much more in demand than the previous year because of their hit song “All Or Nothing.” Unfortunately, the award goes to the remake of “Voulez Vous Couchez Avec Moi”. The boys are surprised and disappointed, but are given a pep talk by Clive Davis, who tells them that being nominated is a tangible recognition of their talent.

The guys arrive at the first stop on the Britney tour and are in awe at the size of the empty arena. Later, backstage in their dressing room, they meet Britney for the first time and Trevor confesses how he feels about her. Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, tells the “Big Rob” story, one which Britney had never heard before. Trevor looks embarrassed and asks him not to tell it. Larry ignores him and begins relating the time he was out to dinner with O-Town and Trevor asked him for Britney’s cell phone number. Trevor went outside to call and Larry had a girl from his table pretend to be Britney and answer Trevor’s call. She tells him he’s interrupted her vacation with her boyfriend and wonders why he’s bothering her. Trevor realizes a joke is being played on him when he looks through the window and sees the guys laughing hysterically. The show finishes with some performance footage of the guys on stage.

Memorable Quotes:

Ashley: I’m kicking ass. I look over at Erik and Erik’s kicking ass. Look over at Trevor. Trevor’s kicking ass. Look over at Dan, and Dan’s up, hyping the crowd like he does. Dan’s kicking ass. Look over at Jacob, I know Jacob’s kicking ass. I don’t even got to look at Jacob. O-Town’s up. Kickin ass.
