The episode begins on the tour bus with Mike Morin telling the boys that a recording session got cancelled and they have two days off. He then tells them he has booked a cabin near Salt Lake City for the two days and they can bring a friend. Jacob calls Janie to tell her about it, but says he feels badly for Trevor because he doesnt have anyone to bring. Jacob suggests Janie bring her little sister Amy. Ashley tells Shelli the same thing, and suggests she bring a friend for Trevor. The boys arrive at the cabin and go inside and explore. The girls arrive. Dan has invited his friend Krista and Erik has invited his friend Kat. Ashley introduces Trevor to Janies sister Amy. On the balcony, Ashley introduces Trevor to Jamie, Shellis friend. Trevor chats to her and finds out she was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers. Ashley tells Trevor later he thought that Janie was just bringing Amy to hang out and didnt realize Jacob meant for her to meet Trevor. Trevor tells Ashley that he and Jacob need to talk about these things, but Ashley points out that now Trevor has two women.
In the living room, and Ashley is playing (and talking about) a song called All She Wrote, a song about a love relationship that ends abruptly with a letter. He says he has had it in his mind for months and its finally coming together. Trevor says its been so long since hes felt in love and he looks at Ashley and Shelli, and Jacob and Janie, and they have the coolest vibe between them, and that one day hell have that. Outside, Trevor cuts some wood while Erik watches and gives him some love advice, saying not to force it, that it will come when he least expects it. Janie and Amy talk about Trevor in their room while theyre fixing their hair. Janie asks if its weird for Amy that Jamie is also there for Trevor. Amy says its not. Janie says Jamies nice and asks Amy how she feels about Trevor. Amy says she likes him but wouldnt force anything to happen.
Lobster is being prepared for dinner. Shelli gets attached to one, but Janie grabs it away from her and gives an evil laugh as she raises it in the air before giving it to Jacob, who pops it in the pot. After dinner, Janie tells the group (minus Trevor) that she wants to play the Blanket Game, which involves getting someone to lie down under a blanket with the others sitting on the edges and guessing which thing on his body the rest want. They convince Trevor to do it. He gets under the blanket and begins removing clothing. They keep telling him no, thats not it, until hes taken off the last piece of clothing, then yell: we want the blanket! and pull it off him. Ashley says he wants to go next. On the balcony, Janie comes up to Jacob and tells him her sister has brought some letters he wrote to her in the sixth grade. Jacob covers his face and says oh no as Janie begins reading. In the hot-tub, Ashley is pointing out the similarities between Jamie and Trevor. The talk turns to relationships and Trevor says hes on the prowl and wanting to be in a relationship, but hes having to force it. The next morning, Dan and Trevor make breakfast and Dan asks Trevor if hes physically attracted to Jamie. Ashley packs and talks to Trevor. He tells him he thinks Jamie likes him, but if wants to pursue something with her, hell have to overcome his usual shyness, because shes shy too. As they leave, Trevor thanks Jamie for coming and asks her if he can have her phone number.
Memorable Quotes:
Trevor: Yeah, you guys can bring your girlfriends, and Ill just
sit in the cabin and play Solitaire.
Jacob: I wish Trevor could experience a relationship like Janie and
I (have). Theres nothing better than having somebody whos your
favorite person in the world and having them feel the same way back. Theres
just nothing better.
Trevor: Its a little embarrassing that, you know, my friends
keep trying to hook me up. I can hook myself up, OK? Shes a cheerleader
